I want to give you a complete campaign update.

First, I am feverishly pursuing institutional and grassroots endorsements.

For example, we have earned the strong support of Congressional Committeeperson Carol Ronen.  We are planning a joint effort to send emails to recruit volunteers.  I am extremely excited.

People are made excited when we talk.

Please join me and my supporters from across District 2 and beyond to gather signatures for my nomination.  We have 1 month to collect hundreds more signatures.  If 10 of us volunteer, it is a winnable goal.

Former Alderman John Arena and I first met when he was a founding member of the brand new Chicago Progressive Caucus.  At the time, I was Chairperson of an amazing group of dedicated friends called The Progressive Alliance.  We did a lot of good work and I am proud of that experience.  John Arena is a real champion of progressive values in Chicago in such a way that they are still felt today.  This endorsement means the world to me.

What an accomplishment for the entire Daniel for Us team!  WE cannot stop getting our message out.

We have not been afraid to push forward.  And pushing forward is exactly what we have done.  We shall not stop.

I know! I know!  But it is still a win anyway!

I started canvassing last summer. I have contacted over 2,000 voters.

It is always special when you hear of a new endorsement.  Fake?  But maybe it still matters.
